Tangerine Peel Pu-erh is made by packing Pu-erh tea leaves into the rind of a whole tangerine. Then left to dry and age, this allows the tangerine's fragrance and flavours to infuse the tea leaves, producing an earthy tea with a refreshing citrusy accent. Steep the whole tangerine for a strong brew, or break it into a few portions for a lighter cup. In addition to the health benefits of Pu-erh, dried tangerine peel (陈皮) is also commonly used in Chinese medicine to regulate the 'Qi'.

As compared to the Medium Tangerine Peel, the Small Tangerine Peel imparts a more pronounced citrusy note. In general, Pu-erh is also more valued with age as the tea becomes smoother and more full-bodied. Our current collection of Small Tangerine Peel Pu-erh has been aged for more than 10 years.

Per quantity of Glutinous Rice Pu-erh Tea is 10 pressed mini tea cakes; per 20g quantity of Fuding White Tea is about 4-5 pressed tea balls; per 20g quantity of Small Tangerine Peel Pu-erh Tea is about 1-2 tea balls.
